Strike
A race opens at the live Pyth price. That number, recorded on chain, is its starting line.
An onchain prediction market on Sui. Each race opens at the live price and sets two barriers, +0.25% and -0.25%. Call the one it touches first, trade until the touch, and every winning token pays 1 USDC.
A race opens at the live Pyth price. That number, recorded on chain, is its starting line.
Two barriers go up the same distance away: 0.25% above and 0.25% below for Bitcoin. UP takes the upper one, DOWN the lower one.
There is no clock. Buy, sell or switch sides on DeepBook's order book at any moment until a barrier is touched.
The first Pyth price at or past a barrier settles the race, and anyone can submit it. Winning tokens pay 1 USDC each, and the next race opens seconds later.
At the strike, UP and DOWN are both worth about 50¢.
A demo with play money on a simulated price, sped up and quoted at its fair odds. A real race trades on DeepBook order books, where traders set the prices and fees apply, and it can run for minutes.
Deposits turn USDC into CASH one for one, inside your own Oqen account. Withdraw, and it turns back into USDC.
After the mint fee, each CASH mints one UP and one DOWN for the current race and is locked in that race's own vault. Every pair is backed by a full dollar.
UP and DOWN each trade against CASH on their own DeepBook order book. UP at 62¢ means the market sees a 62% chance.
The first touch decides it. Each winning token pays 1 CASH from the race's vault, and each losing token pays nothing.
A race's vault always holds what its tokens can claim, and each race pays only from its own.
The only money the contract lets the admin withdraw is collected fees. Race vaults and accounts are out of reach.
A pause stops new races, minting and new orders, never settlement, payouts, merging, cancelling or withdrawals.
Races open and settle only on Pyth prices verified on chain. Nobody, Oqen included, can invent one.
Fully onchain on Sui. Deposit USDC, trade UP and DOWN on DeepBook's central limit order book, and withdraw USDC whenever you like. No sign up and no token approvals: your wallet opens an Oqen account, and only your wallet can use it.
No DeepBook trading fees on Oqen's books. Oqen's own fee is charged only when sets are minted, and the contract caps it at 1.00%.
Which barrier the price touches first. Each race opens at the live Pyth price, the strike, and sets two barriers the same distance above and below it: 0.25% either way for Bitcoin. UP wins if the upper barrier is touched first, DOWN if the lower one is. There is no timer.
Every winning token pays 1 USDC and every losing token pays nothing. Buy UP at 40¢ and each token returns $1.00 if UP wins, two and a half times what you paid, or nothing if DOWN wins. Until the touch you can also sell at the current price.
Traders. UP and DOWN trade against CASH on DeepBook, the central limit order book on Sui, so every price is a real bid from another Oqen account, not a formula. One UP and one DOWN are always minted together for one dollar, so their prices add up to about $1.
The race keeps going: nothing expires. If the price feed ever stops, the race can be voided, and every UP and DOWN token then pays 50¢, so a full pair gets its dollar back. A race that the latest price would settle can never be voided.
The price. The first Pyth price at or past a barrier, published after the race opened, settles it, and anyone can submit that price. The Oqen keeper does it within moments, but it needs no permission and neither does anyone else.
In your own Oqen account, an object on Sui that only your wallet can use, holding a DeepBook balance manager. USDC becomes CASH one for one inside it, and CASH becomes USDC again when you withdraw. UP, DOWN and CASH never leave Oqen accounts, which keeps every race separate and fully backed.
DeepBook charges no trading fees on the Oqen order books. Oqen charges a fee only when sets are minted, capped at 1.00% by the contract, and every transaction pays the usual Sui network fee.
No smart contract is free of risk. The Oqen contracts run more than 200 tests, including end-to-end runs against the code of DeepBook, Pyth and Wormhole themselves, and are checked by mutation testing. External audit reports will be linked on this site once they are published. Read the risk disclosure before you trade.
